Scott Legal & Consulting LLC was formed in 2019 by Maurice R. Scott with the goal of representing individuals, real estate investors, developers, and corporations in a wide range of areas. Maurice regularly works with clients in negotiating office leases, purchase and sale of commercial properties, land use disputes, and quiet title actions.

Before founding Scott Legal & Consulting LLC, Mr. Scott was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Indianapolis, where he advised and represented multiple government agencies in land use disputes, quiet title actions, and mortgage foreclosures. Maurice’s knowledge of quiet title actions earned him the reputation of the go-to person on handling those matters in central Indiana. Mr. Scott’s experience with the City of Indianapolis taught him how to resolve issues effectively, efficiently, and with minimal cost.

Mr. Scott is active in his local community. He is a member of the Marion County Bar Association, Board Member of the International Marketplace Coalition, and teaches civics to inner city elementary and middle school students.
